Ebony Brown Profile
What I do: I am a humble staff writer for the paper. I'm apart of Speech and Anime club. Who I am: I was born on the Fort Brag Army base in North Carolina, back when my Dad was in the army. But we moved back to Illinois after two or three years and I’ve lived in the Chicagoland area ever since. I moved around a lot in my elementary school years. First I attended Stevenson elementary in Burbank, Park School out in Riverdale, and then fourth grade we settled down here in Oak Lawn. Where I went to Kolmar, then graduated from OLHMS, and came here, to Richards. I’m a junior now, where my goal for this year is to pass finals, ACTs and my AP classes. And hopefully get into a good college on a scholarship … (soon as I figure out where I want to go). Oh, and most importantly, maintain my sanity through all this. Though I think that might be asking a bit much… What I like: I love, watching anime, dancing around my room like a dork, listening to music. Reading and creative writing, especially poetry or short stories. But most of all I like to hang out with my friends (who are pretty much insane). If you ask anyone who knows me, they’ll tell you I’m a very random person and a very opinionated. You never have to wonder how I feel about you because I usually just tell you to your face. I’m on Girls JV Swim Team and I’m thinking about going out for Track this year. I also take part in Speech and Anime Club. Can’t say I’m really big on sports, but I always support Chicago teams. Some of my favorite foods are nachos, pasta, and chocolate ANYTHING (but no nuts, I’m allergic). Talk to me about: Any and everything, I'll be more than happy to listen.
