Former Richards Graduate, Jordan Moeller recently organized and presented the seventh annual “One Skate at a Time” charity organization.

The fundraiser took place on April 28 at Southwest Ice Arena in Crestwood. All the proceeds were donated to Children’s Oncology Services, Inc.

The Children’s Oncology Services, Inc., operates and assist lots of One Step programs that  provide camp experience for kids with cancer.

Moeller, who is a winner of the U.S. Figure Skating Intermediate Men’s national champion,  came off a broken leg he had suffered back in 2016 as he started off this years skating with one of his top 10 finishes, skating to the song “One More Light” by Linkin Park.

Other performers in the event included top skaters Courtney Hicks, 2011 U.S. Junior Ladies champion and Ryan Bedard and Isabelle Martins, who won the U.S. Juvenile Pairs Championship in 2016 and are 2018 U.S National Competitors.

Money was raised at the event through ticket sales, a silent auction, and other donations.
