This time on Serving Looks on the Richard Runway, senior, Delilah Caldera, gives us some insight on her newly developed style. Like most people in high school, Delilah’s style shifted within the past few years of her high school career.

“I would say my style as of right now is very colorful and dressy casual. Before I had mostly dark color in my wardrobe such as black. I used to wear a lot of black in my earlier years of high school, but now I have incorporated a lot more color to my wardrobe and a lot of floral patterns and I like this style a lot more. It definitely suits me.” Delilah states.

Delilah also drops tips on how she found the style that best fits her and describes how finding your own individual style can be difficult.

“First I got a job, so that way I wouldn’t have to worry about money. Then I had to consider what really fit my body type and my personality, which can be really awkward and uncomfortable especially if your totally lost. My best advice for that would be to just go with your mind and wear what you think is best for you and what fits you and just gain some confidence. Everything will become so much easier after that.” Delilah states.

If you feel as though your style is similar to Delilah’s, you can try shopping at stores such as Windsor, Forever 21, and Charlotte Russe, which are Delilah’s favorite stores in the mall
