Everybody tends to have a different sense of style that fits their own personality, their body type, and their own personal comfort. The halls of Richards are full of personalities that give inspiration to many fashion trends. The different cultures and styles can help give all students the inspiration to make their own fashion statements.  To celebrate these styles, the Richards Herald will now be announcing the look of the week feature. Every other week fashion writer, Trashante Watkins, will showcase different styles found around Richards High School that can help you find your own sense of style.

Sheanna Kirk, senior, uses her style to show off her feminine side.

Wearing a pair of slightly distressed high waisted light wash Fashion Nova jeans, hot pink Ugg rain boots and a v-neck black bodysuit from Fashion Nova, Kirk, self describes her fashion sense as “girly,” but her style has developed over the years.

“I really didn’t find my true sense of style until about my junior year of high school,” Kirk says.

But that time searching for her own style was worth it because she looks and feels amazing.

“It took me a while to figure out what looked best on me and really fit my personality in the past years, but now I love my style and I take a lot of pride in it,” Kirk said.

Kirk’s chic and yet cute and comfortable look  works well for people with kind of a chill, laid back type of personality.
